When does your Menstrual Period give more Problems?
Every woman has to face time of menstrual cycle. Sometimes it is uncomfortable and women feel inconvenient. But it is just that your body tells you that your reproductive system is working well.
Different women feel different kinds of periods. Some periods are short while some women have long periods. Some have light periods while others have heavy.
After sometime women gets habitual of this monthly cycle. They also take it normally. But for some female it is not normal. Some women have spotting between periods and some have excessively heavy flow. When these things happen then there is something wrong with the body.
Sometimes women have no periods. If their age is between 20s and 30s and they are sexually active; then it can be the possibility of pregnancy. Sometimes it happens in the age of 40s to 50s then it can be because of menopause.
If your menstrual cycle stops for twelve months that means you are in menopause. Exercising too much can also stop the periods. Eating disorder can also stop the periods. People who have thyroid disorder, they often miss their periods.
Hypothalamus disorder can again be responsible. Breast feeding, obesity, stress, ovarian failure, and other uterus disease can cause missed periods.
Some women face the problem of heavy periods. Normally, woman sheds about 2 to 3 table spoon of blood but in heavy periods woman sheds more than five tablespoons. By this problem, woman loses iron that can lead to anemia. Symptoms of it are unusually pale skin, shortness of breath, and fatigue.
Then it is advisable to get it checked by doctor. Oral medication can help in such problem. Heavy bleeding causes due to many reasons such as uterus cancer, certain medicines, birth control pills, ectopic pregnancy, and polyps.
You should tell your doctor if you are bleeding between periods. Some women have lot of pain during periods. They are known as dysmenorrheal. You should talk to your doctor about this. He/she will tell you the right treatment. Medicines are recommended by doctors to treat it.
You should tell your doctor if any problem occurs with your periods like irregular periods, painful periods. You face other problems like days between periods are exceeding or they are coming soon, too much bleeding, and if they have stopped.
So, whatever may be the situation, when your period is causing you more hassles you should take proper treatment to normalize it.
