Valentine craft ideas for creative gifts

You can gift a cut-paper flower card to your partner. For this, use a pink colored construction paper of size 8 1/2″ x 11″. Also, you’ll need two red construction papers of size 8 1/2″ x 11″. You’ll need scallop scissors and hot-glue gun. You’ll also require 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ sized red card stock and 3 conversation heart candies.

Now, you should cut 7 oval shaped pieces, each equal to 1″ long x 3/4″ wide from the pink paper. Using one red paper, you should cut 7 ovals again, each having size – 1 3/4″ long x 3/4″ wide. Cut 7 oval pieces out of the other red paper also and make sure each piece has the same size as the ones you’ve cut with the first red paper.

Next, you should fold the card stock at the middle and place the red scalloped ovals in the form of a circular flower, thus making sure that the ends nearly overlap. Apply hot glue on the underside of each piece of paper you’ve cut. Keep the unscalloped red ovals in between the scalloped oval shaped pieces.

The underside of each red oval must have hot glue applied on it. Next, the pink ovals should be placed in between the plain red ovals; hot glue should be applied to the underside of each pink shaped oval piece. While preparing this gift, don’t forget to apply glue at the back and center of the candies, where the pink ovals touch each other. Finally, write a cute valentine message inside the card for your partner!

Another gift that’s worth presenting is a sweetheart scroll. It is an inscribed scroll with a candy heart message. To make it attractive, you can tie a pretty red ribbon around the paper. Alternatively, you can present a candy heart ring. Just choose a few silver wedding rings and a ring box. Fasten them with hot glue. So, the next time you look forward to offering something special to your valentine, work upon these creative ideas. They’re quick, simple and easy to carry out!
