Nausea and Vomiting

This condition can be confused with morning sickness because its symptoms are similar to the symptoms of morning sickness but they are more severe than morning sickness symptoms.
Make note of the fact that you need to see your health care provider immediately in case you notice following changes: drastic reduction in your weight, severe nausea and vomiting, find difficulty in eating, observe blood or bile in your vomit. An immediate treatment is required if you are going through any of these or combination of these symptoms.
Morning sickness is also considered as a sign of a healthy pregnancy. You may also experience other symptoms such as backache, darkening of breast nipple, feeling sleepy, constipation, frequent urination, and food cravings. If you are not experiencing symptoms of morning sickness, do not brood over this fact. You still might be having a normal pregnancy which is a very good thing.
How to Cure Morning Sickness?
You need to take rest as much as you need and avoid doing heavy work that can leave you tired and exhausted. A cup of ginger tea daily in the morning may prove effective in treating your nausea.
You need to drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated and to restore fluids lost due to vomiting. Try to divert your attention by engaging in activities you like to do.
Reading good books, watching your favorite programs on television, spending time with your friends, learning parenting tips etc. will prove to be effective distractors and will help you forget all your physical or mental pain.
