Tips That Will Rejuvenate Your Dull Hair
Lifeless dull hair is one of our common problems throughout the year. While in the summer sun, chlorine and salty water steal the moisture and shine from the hair, the cold and dry weather also do the same thing in the winter. Here are some suggestions to lock the moisture in your hair:
Deep conditioning treatment:
You can find deep conditioner in your nearest medical store. Choose the conditioning product with protein, olive oil and other hydrating elements. You need to keep the conditioner on your hair for 15-30 minutes for the penetration. You can also make use of the mayonnaise in your kitchen for this purpose. Deep conditioning is required at least once a week.
Moisturizer based shampoo:
Use shampoo which is made for dry hair. While buying, don’t forget to check the label of the shampoo and always avoid alcohol based products. Moisturizing shampoo helps to restore the oils on your hair.
Avoid hair drying tools:
Try to dry your hair naturally. Heat of the Hair drying tools makes the hair dull. If you are in hurry first towel dry you hair and apply some leave in moisturizer then blow-dry the hair. And remember never rub your hair vigorously.
Proper brushing:
A proper brushing twice a day spread the oil from crown to shaft. It also cleans the hair and stimulates the scalp to produce natural oil. Brush your dried hair gently with soft bristle comb. If your hair is wet use wide toothed comb to detangle the knots.
Healthy green diet:
Eat lots of green vegetables with Protein-rich foods. Make sure you diet must contain vitamins like A, B, C, E and K and minerals like silica [generally found in potatoes with skin, asparagus, cucumbers and bell peppers]. EFAs [essential fatty acids] also hydrate the hair. Fresh tuna, salmon, sardines, herring and mackerel, Flaxseed, olives, avocados and few nuts are rich in EFAs. If you are suffering from some hormonal disorder immediately consult your doctor.
