Sun is the essential source of the energy and sunlight provides our skin with the vitamin D. but the UVA and UVB [ultra violet rays] of the sum damage the skin most causing wrinkles and even skin cancer.
To protect you skin from those damaging rays you need to use sunscreen lotion regularly. Sunscreen based lotion or cream reduces the amount ofÂ the harmful rays by creating a wall between your skin and the rays. Using sunscreen you can posses soft baby like skin even in your mid 40’s or 50’s.
But choosing a right sunscreen is not an easy task. the type of sunscreen you’d require depends on your skin-type, the amount of application and re application and the absorbtion power of your skin. Higher number of SPF [sun protection factor] ensures more safety. So always choose a sunscreen with high SPF.
Normally SPF 15 is recommended for Indian skin. It protects the skin from sunburn for almost 150 minutes. If you swim or sweat a lot you sunscreen is looses its protective power. However, even the high SPF sunscreens do not ensure the full protection. You may any time change from your current brand to the new one if you are not satisfied with the current one.
