First of all your skin gets tanned and if it is sensitive, you run a risk of getting sun burns in case you are out for a long time. You can also have skin rashes because of excessive exposure to heat.
Also, the sun rays render the dry skin drier and if you have an oily skin, more oil will be exuded. With a skin without moisture and a lot of oil, there is a risk of pimples and acne occurring.
Excessive dust on the skin also increases the chances of blemishes. Carry a sunscreen of at least 15 SPF and keep your shades with you as well. Ensure that the sunscreen is applied in sufficient quantity.
Keep yourself and your skin hydrated. Drink a lot of water and if the weather is hot, then wash your face and neck as much as possible if you can. Always apply moisturizer to ensure that the water level in the skin is optimum. This will keep your skin supple and soft.
Ensure that your skin is clean by washing it regularly for all the dirt and the excess oil from the pores to be removed. Use water based moisturizers if your skin is dry. Do not rub your face while using a towel, always pat dry yourself. This will help reduce any risk of the skin being pulled or abrasions to be formed.
Exfoliate your skin every week. The new skin that will grow in place of the old will be suppler. Use gentle fruit masks at times to deep clean the skin and remove any excess oil.
