Sexy Eyes

Our eyes express more than our words, the eye makeup decides whether you will look bright or you will look dull, what’s more it can even lend you a sensual appeal. The latest in eye make up trends is the smoky look which goes perfect with the currently popular nude make up. The smoky style will give your eyes shape a dramatic effect, and interestingly it goes well on most women irrespective of their complexion and face structure.

To get the smoky eyed look, you need to start first by making outlines for your eyes with a black eye pencil. However if you have a dark black eye shadow and a brush then leave aside the pencil and use the eye shadow to make the outlines. Moisten the brush and make neat outlines for your eyes, both on the upper side and the lower side.

Next, pick up some eye shadow in a dark shade of gray and make clean sweeps with it on your upper eyelid. Try to blend it well with the black outline that you made earlier to get a soft effect. Follow this with an application of a light brown shade of eye shadow to the inside of the eyelid.

Use a gray or a blue eye pencil and run it lightly over the black outline that you made earlier on your upper as well as lower eyelids. And if you want to add a bit more of that dramatic effect use the liquid eyeliner and apply it as a thin line on the eyelids.

We’re almost done with the eyelids, and it’s time to move on to the eyelashes. Use an eyelash curler to curl them upwards, ideally you should keep your eyelashes pressed in the curler for about half a minute and then immediately follow it with a mascara application.

A single coat of mascara is just not enough so you must apply at least two coats.  Make firm upward strokes for your upper eyelashes with your mascara wand, and for the lower eyelashes make side to side strokes with that tip of the mascara wand. Leave the mascara to dry and then just run the comb through the eyelashes to prevent them from sticking together.

And finally complete the look with some light brown eye shadow strokes over the eyebrows.
