Citrus fruits and their peels

As for oranges, more than the flesh, the peel contains more vitamin C, and to use it you need to mince the peel and apply this paste on to your face as a face mask.

Fresh tomatoes



Ripe red tomatoes are full of antioxidants, and to give your skin an antioxidant boost all that you need to do is remove the skin and mash the pulp of the tomatoes. Let this face pack stand on your skin for about 30 minutes, and it’s deep cleansing properties will remove all the impurities from your skin giving it to a fresh new look. Accumulation of impurities in the pores is the next most significant factor that leads to acne, with the first one being excess of natural oil.

Garlic

Raw garlic has excellent antibacterial and antifungal properties, and while eating it is one way to treat your acne problem, applying its paste on the affected area seems to be the best option to get immediate relief. However, the most important prerequisite is that you should be able to stand its offensive odor. When applied onto the skin directly, it needs about fifteen minutes to work its magic.



Eggs

Using egg whites as a face mask to treating acne, is a particularly good idea when you need to tighten up your skin pores at the same time. The high zinc content found in egg white helps in reducing pimples. Ideally, it should be left on the skin for about twenty minutes, but when you’re applying it to your face, be a little careful not to apply it on the delicate skin around the eyes.
