Since most of the new generation guys want to play it cool, it’s quite likely that a guy may ask you out on a daytime date or and early evening coffee date. And if he does, you should feel a lot relieved because you don’t have to get into the intricacies of fine dressing, as casual is going to be the theme. Nevertheless, casual dressing ideas doesn’t imply simply putting up a neat appearance, instead try something different (don’t read this as sexy) to keep them guessing.

These types of dates are normally considered as low-impact dates and while most women would say the guy is noncommittal types, there is no resting ground for such thinking,  and it is possible that the guy maybe a potential candidate for a long term romance. Most guys today prefer such kind of casual dates to keep things within budget and at the same time to enjoy an opportunity to discuss things more openly.

Now, while there is nothing really wrong with such casual daytime dates and you shouldn’t really doubt the intentions and the capability of the guy, still you cannot ignore that a lot of cheapskates and noncommittal guys usually prefer casual dating to get cheap thrills without really having to invest. So be a little careful and judge the guy about his motive before you accept his casual date invitation.

Now the big question that usually arises for such casual dates is who should be paying for the coffee? Well unless your feminist ego is a little too strong, paying for the date is none of your business, let the guy handle it.

When it comes to paying, if the guy is a cheapskate he will definitely expect you to pay for your own coffee while he pays for his, also you can identify weather the guy is a cheapskate by seeing how well he tips the service staff. And although we did say that it is the guy who must pay for the first date, it is always better to carry your own cash in your wallet, just in case you might have to pay for the coffee as well as for the cab back home.
