Moisturizing Creams for Petal Soft Hands

Natural moisturizers are prepared from natural ingredients. Moisture rich ingredients like almond oil, beeswax and shea butter are some of the ingredients which are used to prepare these fantastic hand creams. These recipes are extremely simple to make and the results on regular application of these hand lotions are absolutely dramatic.

Jojoba and Patchouli Oil Hand Cream

Microwave a quarter cup each of emulsifying wax and jojoba oil in a glass container for a minute. Once the ingredients have melted and blended well, add one and a quarter cups of hot water to the wax and oil mixture.

Then add fifteen drops each of frankincense and patchouli essential oils. Stir vigorously and transfer the cream into clean plastic containers once the ingredients have cooled down completely.

Coconut Oil and Lanolin Hydrating Hand Cream

Microwave together, three tablespoons of beeswax, a tablespoon of liquid lanolin, a half cup of light sesame oil and a tablespoon each of honey and coconut oil.

Once the ingredients have melted, remove the glass bowl from the microwave and add fifteen drops of lemon essential oil. Let the mixture cool completely, before transferring it to clean glass containers.

Beeswax and Coffee Hand Cream

Coffee is naturally rich in phytosterols a powerful antioxidant which penetrates quickly into the skin and increases moisture retention. Over a double boiler melt four tablespoons of beeswax, two tablespoons each of coffee bean butter and roasted coffee oil and six tablespoons of jojoba oil. Once the ingredients have blended; transfer the mixture to an airtight container.

Carrot Seed Oil and Mango Butter Deep Moisturizing Hand Cream

Mango butter helps in restoring elasticity and decelerates the degeneration of skin cells.  Over a double boiler melt four tablespoons of beeswax and two tablespoons of mango butter in a glass bowl.

To this molten mixture add eight tablespoons of coconut oil. Next include ten drops of carrot seed essential oil. Let the ingredients cool and harden well before transferring it to clean glass jars.
