Oily skin is difficult to manage – with excessive secretion of oil and the dirt getting attracted to the oily surface. Add acne to the scene, and it all turns into a dreaded night mare.

Acne prone skin needs extreme care as acne looks bad, causes pain, and leaves behind ugly marks if handled wrongly. Hence a regular cleansing routine along with antiseptic and antibacterial treatments are a necessity.

Facial masks can be very helpful for such oily and acne prone skin. There are a number of facial masks for oily skin, which not only soothe your skin but also make it clearer. The recipes for 3 such masks are given below:-

The beauty benefits of French green-clay are unmatched. It not only soothes your skin, but it also revitalizes, improves complexion and tightens the skin pores.

Now you can either use this mixture straightaway or you can add in a few drops of essential oils (tea rose, lavender or chamomile are best for acne prone skin).  Once the paste is ready, apply it evenly on your face and keep it for 15-20 minutes before you wash it off with cold water.

The Apple Zinger Mask
