Going on your first date can be quite an exciting affair, but there are certain things that you need to keep in mind, because playing it safe is most important.
If you’re not watchful about how you act and how you behave on your first date, the whole episode can turn into a true disaster. Here are some worthy tips that will help you in making your first date an absolutely wonderful experience.
Spend some time on getting ready
It isn’t just another day of your life; you’re going out on your first date, so spend some time on putting together your clothes and your makeup. While deciding on the dress, just keep in mind the location where the two of you would be meeting, because you definitely don’t want to look over dressed or under-dressed. Wear something nice and comfortable, and go extra cautious with your makeup because you don’t want to give your new date the wrong ideas about you.
Choose the location wisely
When you’re meeting a guy for the first time, you need to spend more time speaking to him, to get a fair idea about the kind of person he is and so you need to choose on a location which will allow the two of you to speak to each other without getting interrupted by what’s going on around you. Meeting over coffee, lunch or dinner is definitely better than going out to an amusement park or to watch a movie.
Go slow
It on your first date with this new man, you may find him exciting and you may want to ask him out on another date, but hold your horses and wait for him to do this work. Don’t act desperate, because you don’t really know what’s going on in his mind so just have some patience and let him propose about meeting again.
If you think he’s is this shy types and is finding it difficult to ask you out, then you can indulge in a bit of flirting to make it easier for him to ask you out for another date.
And lastly, avoid drinking with him on your first date and also don’t let him rush you into sex on the very first date.
