Remove the mixture from the flame and do keep on stirring constantly for about 15 minutes.

The mixture is to be then sieved so as to remove all the seeds. The separated liquid is to be stored in an airtight container and is to be then allowed to cool. After the mixture has cooled down and settled to form a gel like composition, do add to it 3 tablespoons of Aloe vera gel and stir vigorously for about a minute. The hair gel thus prepared can be stored in an airtight container and refrigerated. After a week, the gel will be ready and you can use it in the same manner as your commercial hair styling products.
In order to make the gel fragrant, you can also add to it an essential oil of your choice. If you wish to obtain the flaxseed hair styling product in the form a spray, then you can add to the soaked flaxseeds 2 tablespoons of rose water and 2 tablespoons of vegetable glycerin.
You needn’t boil this mixture, but instead you should keep on stirring vigorously for about 20 minutes. Remove the flaxseeds by sieving the solution, and store the clear liquid obtained in a large spray bottle. The hair spray thus prepared has to be stored overnight and can be used later on. Do see to it that you shake the bottle well, before each usage.
