In this world of stress and tension, who does not want a relaxing massage? Getting a massage is easy, but getting a really relaxing one, is hard. This is mainly due to the fact of the massage oils are often not very relaxing and soothing. However, you can solve that problem easily by making your own relaxing massage oil. Here is how:
Take a bottle made of amber or blue glass of a capacity of 4-8 fl oz (125 ml- 250 ml).
Next, for ingredients, you will need Essential Lavender oil, Essential Chamomile oil, Essential Sandalwood oil, Essential Ylang ylang oil and Massage oil.
If you are intending to make 10 ml of blend of essential oil, just add the following ingredients to the container – 1 tsp and twenty drops of essential lavender oil, thirty drops of essential chamomile oil, thirty drops of essential sandalwood oil, and twenty drops of essential ylang ylang oil.
Cover the bottle tightly and shake vigorously.
This was for your blend of essential oils.
If you are going to make massage oil, take a 125 ml bottle and add 24 drops of twenty four drops of essential lavender oil, six drops of essential chamomile oil, six essential drops sandalwood oil, and four drops essential ylang ylang oil.
Now, fill the rest of this bottle with your preferred massage oil. The perfect blend of your relaxing massage oil is ready for use. Remember to keep the lid tightly closed.
This blend is also very helpful to be used as room freshener. For this, pour the blend of essential oils into a aromatherapy diffuser, which is a table top diffuser for continuous scent diffuser. However, it works best if the bottle is of amber or blue glass. Just pour into the diffuser and feel the natural scent rejuvenate you.
