How To Grow Your Hair Long?

December 24, 2008

It’s quite explicable why you envy that dame, with beautiful long hair, at your office; certainly so, because she gets so much of attention from all the guys. Isn’t it? Well the fact is long and beautiful hair is quite a turn on for most men. You too can enjoy long beautiful hair and it’s not really tough, unless of course it’s medically proven in your case that you can’t grow hair.

Now, if you’ve decided to grow your hair let’s tell you about the do’s and don’ts to growing long beautiful hair. First of all, to promote to hair growth and to keep them healthy they need to be trimmed, say at least once every three months. Normally our hair grow nearly 6 inches in a year, but when you develop split ends your hair will become weak and the growth will become retarded. So it is important for you to get your hair trimmed to keep them in good health.

To stay healthy we need food, and so do our hair. And there are two ways in which you can feed your hair directly, and these are conditioning and oiling. A deep conditioning treatment after a shampoo will help restore the lost moisture, and when your hair is properly moistened it’s less likely to break and suffer damage because of the outside environment. And as for oiling, regular oil massage will keep your hair follicles well nourished, and you know it quite well that a plant will be healthy only if the roots are healthy.

Harsh chemical treatments disturb the natural body structure of the hair, making them brittle and thus they may break off at mid lengths. Avoid using strong hair colors, straightening creams and styling mousses if you want your dream of long beautiful hair to be fulfilled. And not just chemicals, even certain chemical free styling techniques can weaken the body of your hair such as curling with curling irons, using hair straightening irons and frequent use of blow dryer.

And before I end this, I would like to stress upon the importance of eating a well balanced diet to promote hair growth. Your hair needs a diet which contains adequate amounts of vitamins, minerals, proteins and essential fatty acids. Plan your meals, to include food items which supply you with the required nutrients, to get long and beautiful hair.
