Microwave this mixture for 3 minutes and use it after it has cooled down to room temperature. If you have naturally dry skin, then before heating up the mixture, you can add to it half a cup of honey.

The Brown Sugar – Vinegar Wax Recipe

Another hair removal wax that is quite effective in action can be made from brown sugar and vinegar. To make this wax, you will have to heat together 2 cups of brown sugar, 1 cup of vinegar and 1 cup of cold water in a saucepan.  The flame should be kept low and you should keep on stirring this mixture continuously. Do remove the saucepan from the flame after the sugar particles have melted completely and the mixture has turned brown.  The hair removal wax thus prepared, can be used after it has cooled down to reach the room temperature.

Sugar Wax Recipe For Sensitive Skin

If you have extremely sensitive skin, then you can use a sugar wax recipe, which contains theraupeutic oils. To prepare the wax, you will have to first make a sugar syrup by mixing together 4 cups of granulated sugar with 2 cups of water. Heat this mixture until the sugar has dissolved completely to form a thick syrup. To this sugar syrup, do add a quarter cup of mussed oil, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon each of tea tree oil and Vitamin E oil . Continue to stir for about a minute and then remove the mixture from the flame.



The presence of tea tree oil and Vitamin E oil in the sugar wax , will help in preventing skin inflammations and irritations. The sugar wax prepared should be allowed to cool down completely, after which it can be used.

Sugaring is a completely painless method of hair removal and the sugar wax prepared can be used for removing not only body hair, but also facial hair. It is also found that a homemade sugaring wax, when stored under proper conditions, will last for 6 to 8 weeks without getting spoilt.
