Goodbye Bad Breath

There is nothing more appalling than bad breath when it comes to socializing with people. And if you are about to get intimate with your boyfriend, then you must positively get rid of bad breath, because bad breath is one potency killer. There are several ways in which you can avoid bad breath problem, with the most common being chewing on breath mints, however most methods have a temporary effect.

If your bad breath is simply because of some food that you just had, like something with a strong garlic flavor, you can easily get rid of it by brushing your teeth or chewing some mint fresheners. You can even use some oral suspensions to rinse your mouth or try something as convenient as a mint spray that you can always carry in your pocket. In most cases, bad breath may just be because of improper dental hygiene, so make it a habit to brush your teeth twice a day, scrape your tongue and floss your teeth on a regular basis.

However, at times bad breath may indicate towards an underlying medical condition related either to the dental region or to the digestive system. Decaying tooth, gum problems, constipation, indigestion and acid reflux are some of the commonly cited medical reasons that lead to chronic bad breath problem.

Rinsing your mouth with mouthwash is also an effective way to control bad breath. But when you’re buying one, just check whether it contains zinc or chlorine dioxide, because these two chemicals are the best in controlling bad breath. Both these have an effect on the sulfur compounds which are mainly responsible for bad breath.

In case you wish to avoid using chemical based products to get rid of bad breath, try some parsley oil capsules which are easily available at most medical stores, under different brand names. Parsley oil has a dramatic effect on eliminating the strongest of food odors, even the strong pungent garlic smell which is difficult to get rid of, while lending your breath a mild sweetness and freshness.

And when the capsules are not at close reach, just chew a few sprigs of fresh parsley and it is just about as effective in controlling bad breath, although the effect may last only for a short time. In most restaurants parsley is used to decorate the plates, so when you’re done with your food just pop in a little bit of that parsley and you needn’t worry about bad breath.
