Food – some important points
If you are over eating or have diet issues and health problems, read on to get some help.
Breakfast- necessary and not a formality
Try not to skip your breakfast as you are 75% more likely to over eat for the rest of the day. If you are not really a morning person, try to gulp down a nutritional smoothie. Throw in some frozen fruits, some greens and protein powder, almond butter and any liquid of your choice. Sweet cereals are not exactly ideal for breakfast and so are bagels. Try eating boiled eggs with a slice of toast or oatmeal. A healthy breakfast is absolutely necessary to keep you fit.
Avoid food just for the sake of it
Don’t eat just because you have nothing else to do. If you are in the kitchen and are really tempted to eat a slice of cake, try and divert your mind. Indulge yourself in anything for ten minutes. If you have a break from work, take a walk. You can even call up a friend to avoid eating. Find a new habit if you have to but only eat when you are hungry.
Stop over eating
Don’t go on eating just because your plate isn’t empty yet. Control your portions or just get smaller plates then. If you are eating our order in small quantities or just order half your plate to go. No matter how tacky it seems, that’s what is needed. Do not stuff food in yourself because you can.
Stay off the fast food
Avoid the fast food vending machines. Fast food is also your highway to obesity and stomach disorder. Stay off the fried stuff. If you have to, order chicken, salad or just drink water.
If you are suffering from an emotional crisis, call up a friend and don’t binge on ice cream.
If you keep all these things in check, you can still have fun sometimes. Health is our best asset and we should take care of it. So keep it healthy guys and gals.
