Washing your face with a regular bar of soap cannot remove this deep seated dirt.
There are facial cleansers to suit the different skin types. The following facial cleansers are prepared with natural ingredients and can be used by individuals of all skin types.
Milk and Elderflower Facial Cleanser Recipe:
In a glass bowl placed over a double boiler, heat a quarter cup of milk, a quarter cup of cream and two tablespoons of dried elder flower blossoms for over thirty minutes. Ensure that the milk does not boil over.
Next turn off the heat and allow the ingredients to set for about two hours. After two hours, strain the milk and cream mixture to remove the dried elderflower blossoms. Finally refrigerate the mixture and use it as and when required.
Aloe Vera Gel and Cucumber Juice Facial Cleanser Recipe:
Take four tablespoons of fresh cucumber juice, half a cup of fresh watermelon juice, a half cup of distilled water, and two tablespoons of glycerin and two tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Mix the ingredients well and store in a clean glass jar. Apply this cleanser on the face and wash it off after ten minutes.
Oats and Lavender Facial Cleanser Recipe:
Finely grind two tablespoons of oats, one teaspoon of dried lavender, and one teaspoon of dried rose petals. Add two tablespoons of white kaolin clay to the ground ingredients.
Mix the ingredients well and transfer it to an airtight container. To make the cleansing paste mix a teaspoon of the pre-prepared dry ingredients with two tablespoons of distilled water to form a smooth paste. Apply the mixture on the face and rinse it off after five minutes.
Lime and Honey Facial Cleanser Recipe:
This cleanser recipe can leave your skin feeling satiny smooth. To prepare this cleanser recipe, mix four tablespoons of yoghurt, with two tablespoons of honey and three tablespoons of lime juice. Mix the ingredients to form a smooth paste. Apply the mixture on the face and allow it to sit for about five minutes. Wash off the cleanser mixture with cotton balls dipped in lukewarm water.
