Easy and Healthy Breakfast Tips

Breakfast being the most important meal for the day, should be had in proper quantity and it is important that it should comprise of all vital nutrients that your body needs.

Try yogurt. Dress it with healthy toppings like granola, nuts, berries etc. If you want to, you can add cereal to it as well. Not only will your breakfast taste awesome with creamy yogurt, but also it will help you have all the required nutrients that you need.

If you are someone who rises late and has just the right amount of time to prepare a toast for yourself then keep your fridge stacked with the following food items which can be grabbed along with your toast and you can have them on your way to work.

These are filling and full of vitamins, proteins and minerals. These items include fresh fruits, oatmeal bars, dry cereals and yogurt smoothies. You can also have cottage cheese.

If you do not have time for toasts even, just grab an apple and some cheese. Add walnuts to the combination and you will have an all round healthy nutritional breakfast.

Another savory, light yet healthy breakfast option is to have some almonds along with a doughnut. Get that cold chocolate milk from the refrigerator, switch the TV on and browse through the channels while you devour it all. Not only it is filling but it will have induced the right amount of calories to help you breeze through till your lunch time.

If you do not want anything to much and crunch on, then add strawberry powder flavor to soy milk or low fat milk. Add bananas or strawberries and use a blender to mix it all with some crushed ice. You will have a refreshing smoothie in the morning that will also take care of all the nutrients too.

Then you can also have an alternate breakfast that comprises of egg salad. Boil eggs and then chop them to pieces. Add onion, chives and low fat mayonnaise. Mix the ingredients with a gentle spoon.

Sprinkle the mixture with rosemary and garlic powder and then store the preparation in the fridge. Have it in the morning at leisure. All these are easy morning meal options that are both healthy and tasty.
