Divorce and It’s Problems
Divorce has become the buzz word today with all the courts getting
flooded with such claims day by day. One wonders how can one couple
who loved each other so much can suddenly become iron resolved to get
rid of one another and start a new life?
Divorce, new life, new beginning may sound fascinating but before taking any decision you must also consider the after effects of divorce. Marriage and divorce is not something like a toy that you can buy and throw it away at will.
Like marriage divorce not only involves several lives and emotions but also involves several complications and perhaps after going through them you will realize that may be you were leading a far more happy conjugal life:
The Decision:
When a crisis comes make sure before taking any drastic decision you talk to your partner. Discussing problems informally and solving them without any external help is the best way possible. You can also take the help of the counselors if you find that you both are incapable of reaching any understanding.
Legal Problems:
If you have already taken the decision to separate them it would be wise to check the legal complications ahead of your path. If you spouse is unemployed or even in certain circumstances she or he can demand a chunk of your property and money. You are also bound to look after her financial needs even after separation.
Children:
They are the terrible sufferers in this legal battle involving not only legal but also psychological complexities. In most of the cases if the child is not adult then mother is given the right to look after the child. Single parents may love their child as much as they want but it always results in a fragmented self within the child.
Apart from this the constant court battles and draining of money and lawyers are also quite troublesome. Think about it. Perhaps now you realise divorce is not that paradise about which you have been dreaming.
