Coat Fashion For The Cold Winters

As the winter chill increases, its time for the winter coats to step out of the wardrobes. In fact, coats and jackets are the hottest piece of fashion in every winter season. And with wide range of styles to pick and choose from, such as blazers, bikers leather, pea coats, trench coats, every woman can look forward to making an awesome fashion statement.

Here are a few women’s coat styles, from simple cardigan style to those with exquisite embellishments and fur, to add volume and fun to your outfit.

Cardigan style Coats

The cardigan style coats are the most common, because they are comfortable, warm, snug and fairly economical. For a trendy look try a funnel neck cardigan cinched in at the waist with a wide belt, or you can even wear a double breasted cardigan in the same fashion. Cardigan coats with belts are a great way to add extra definition to your outlook.

Biker style jackets

Mostly associated with the rock trend, these biker jackets have come up as the new versatile chic trend. Leave aside the heavily studded and buckled versions for the bikers, and get yourself something that’s modestly styled and with has minimum embellishments. Biker jackets are a great way to add in a punch of toughness and a dash of jazz to your looks.

The age old trench coats

They’ve been around for many years, and they stay in the limelight, every winter season. All that changes is a bit of detailing and the colors, and as for now peppy berry colors and metallic effects are in. Wearing trench coats with knee length boots continues to be the most preferred style.

Military style coats

While the old admiral pea coat style still enjoys great popularity, there’s a new range of modern Military-Style coats which carry a hint of modern fashion as well. They look terrific when paired with riding boots and leather gloves.

Coats with Furs and fringes

The shaggy, yet cozy, fur coats have always been loved as winter outerwear. The new range in Mongolian Shearling, embellished with crystals, is back to make an exotic statement for all the vintage lovers. For an unusual look put on a bushy waist coat over a long sleeved dress and finally get into some slouchy boots.
