Caring for Long Hair
If you have long hair then you need to care of it in order to look good. Long hair is beautiful and versatile. If you care for your long hair then it will look versatile and beautiful. However if you do not care for your hair then it will look dull, lifeless and unkempt. This may make you look older then your age; this is not only unattractive it is also unappealing.
If you have long hair then your hair is prone to getting tangled. This can be avoided by keeping your hair tied up when you are outdoors. Use a hat or a scarf at all times when you are outdoors to keep your hair in place. This will prevent tangles in your hair which eventually reduces hair fall.
If you want to prevent hair fall during hair wash then use a wide toothed comb before you go for a bath to remove all the tangles from your hair. This will help to keep the tangle minimal which means that you loose lesser hair when you are in the shower.
When you are washing your hair do not pour the shampoo on your hair and then work up a lather. The right way to use shampoo is to pour the product on your palms and then work up into lather and run your palms through your hair. Then use a comb to run the lather through the length of your hair. This will prevent breakage and hair loss during the bath.
When your hair is long the ends get very dry and look lifeless. If this happens then the ends begin to split and this split can move upwards and cause a split in the entire length of the hair. In order to prevent this you must use conditioner on the tips of the hair. Also, trim your hair every alternate month to keep the split ends under control.
Avoid treating your hair with chemicals unless absolutely necessary. Avoid coloring your hair every month or curling your hair every weekend. These hot treatments and chemicals damage your hair and take away the natural beauty of your hair. Keep your hair care routine simple and hair treatments minimal.
