Jojoba and Sandalwood Oils Soothing Body Lotion
This is an extremely soothing body lotion. In a glass bowl mix together three ounces of jojoba oil with five drops each of ylang ylang, sandalwood and patchouli essential oils. Once the oils have blended well; transfer the oils to a glass jar to be used as and when the skin feels dry or itchy.
Grape Seed and Peppermint Oils Refreshing Body Lotion
Combine four ounces of grape seed oil with ten drops each of palmarosa, eucalyptus and peppermint essential oils. Once the various oils have mixed well; transfer to a clean and airtight glass container. This refreshing body lotion has a tingling sensation about it.
Beeswax and Cocoa Butter Body Lotion
In a glass bowl placed over a double boiler melt two teaspoons of grated beeswax with quarter cup of cocoa butter and a teaspoon each of apricot kernel and vitamin E oils. Once the ingredients have melted, mix well to form a smooth paste. This body lotion is an excellent option to get rid of unattractive stretch marks.
Mango Butter and Coconut Oil Body Lotion
This is a wonderful anti ageing body lotion recipe. Over a double boiler melt two tablespoons each of beeswax and mango butter. Next add eight level tablespoons of coconut oil and ten drops of carrot seed oil. Mix ingredients well and apply on skin.
