Body Butter- For Super Soft Skin

Body Butters are intensely hydrating products which can leave your skin feeling super soft and well moisturized. Body butter moisturizers normally melt at body temperature and can leave a nice sheen on the skin. Body butters are rich in natural organic oils.

Body butters are basically made from oils which has been extracted from various nuts and seeds through a process known as cold press. Today there are many different kinds of body butters including shea body butter, cocoa body butter, kukui nut butter and mango body butter.



These heavenly smelling butters can be prepared easily at home and cost one tenth of what you would have to pay if you were buying the commercially produced ones. The following body butter recipes can be prepared with ingredients which can be easily sourced.

Cocoa Butter Body Butter for Super Smooth Skin



To prepare this nourishing body butter, mix one ounce of unrefined cocoa butter with half an ounce of shea butter. Next melt half an ounce of natural beeswax in a saucepan over a double boiler.

Once the wax has melted, remove the saucepan from the heat source and allow it cool slightly. Next add the melted beeswax with the cocoa and shea butter mixture.

Now add two ounces of pure jojoba oil and few drops of vitamin E. If you want  some color to your body butter then you can add a dash of bronze mica.



Coconut Nutri Oil with Cocoa Butter for Intensely Hydrated Skin
Mix three quarter ounces of refined cocoa butter with half an ounce of ultra refined shea butter.

Next melt half a ounce of natural beeswax. Once the beeswax has melted and cooled down a little, add the liquid wax into the cocoa and shea butter mixture. Next add one and a quarter ounce of virgin coconut de crème and one ounce of coconut nutria oil. Add a few drops of vitamin E and your body butter is ready.

Hempseed oil and Cocoa Butter Body Butter for Baby Soft Skin
Melt a half ounce of beeswax and mix it with one ounce of refined cocoa butter and half an ounce of unrefined shea butter. Add one ounce of hempseed oil, one ounce of jojoba oil and few drops of vitamin E to the butter and wax mixtures.
