It’s also widely used as a medicinal herb that helps treat several digestive disorders and other body pains. But peppermint oil also comes with a bundle of beauty benefits.



Dandruff – Although the effect is not instant, but regular use of peppermint oil definitely clears your scalp off dandruff. This is a great option if you are looking for natural ways to treat it.

The best way to use is to add a couple of drops of the oil along with the shampoo before washing the hair. The cooling effect of peppermint oil is another great bonus along with the treatment.



Skin Care – Peppermint oil is perfect to rejuvenate dry skin and keep it from shriveling. Since peppermint oil contains menthol it acts as an excellent cooling agent. It also helps to control oil production and keep the excess oil from accumulating which in turn prevents acne from developing.

You can also make a facial paste using peppermint oil. Mix oatmeal with water to make a sufficiently think paste and add a few drops of peppermint oil to the paste. Now apply the paste onto the face and wash it off once the mask dries.

Lip balm – Though it’s not exactly used as a lip balm but it’s an important ingredient in most of the lip balms in the market. You can also apply it directly onto the lips that quickly moistens your lips and keeps them nourished. You can also use it in case your lips are sun burned.



Feet – Peppermint oil is ideal to give that extra pampering to you feet after a long day. You can either add a few drops o it to hot water and soak your feet in it or apply the oil directly to the sole of your feet and massage them. You can also add some Epsom salt to the water to get the extra pedicure effect.
