Soothing Bath Salt Recipe:
Into a large glass container tip half a cup of baking soda, half a cup of dry milk powder, and one cup each of Epsom and sea salt. Mix the ingredients well and take a few teaspoons of this soothing bath salt mixture and pour it into your bath water. Store the remaining salts and use it as and when required. This bath salt recipe can help to cleanse and moisturize the skin simultaneously.
Epsom Salt and Essential Oils Bath Salt Recipe:
In a large glass bowl mix together one cup of ordinary sea salt with two cups of Epsom salts. To the salt mixture add half a cup of baking soda. Next add five drops each of white birch, juniper, ginger, marjoram and rosemary essential oils.
Finally add a tablespoon of sweet almond oil and a few drops of red food coloring. Store the bath salts in an airtight glass jar and add a few teaspoons of these salts into your bath water for a relaxing bath. This bath salt recipe is extremely good for people suffering from arthritis as it helps to ease the aches and pains.
Sea Salt and Kelp Bath Salt Recipe:
In a zip lock bag add two tablespoons of sea salt, three tablespoons of baking soda and one tablespoon of powdered kelp. Next add eight drops each of bergamot, palmarosa, lavender and geranium essential oils. Close the zip lock bag and give the salt mixture a good shake. Add this bath salt mixture into your bath water and enjoy the wonderful skin cleansing and rejuvenating bath experience.
